Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s new movie Kaathal-The Core finally got its release date. The film, directed by Jeo Baby, will be released on 23 November.
Interestingly, Mammootty’s Kaathal-The Core will be among the last high-profile movies to be released in November, which usually witnesses an overflow of films in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.
Even though Diwali is not celebrated widely in Kerala, Tamil films like Jigarthanda Double X and Japan, and the Bollywood movie Tiger 3 will be released on a wide scale in Kerala.
Dileep’s Bandra will also be released on 10 November along with the above-mentioned non-Malayalam films.
On 1 December, Joju George‘s Antony is also expected to be released.
Kaathal-The Core is produced by Mammootty’s own production house Mammootty Kampany. It casts Tamil actress Jyothika opposite Mammootty.
The makers have also released a new poster featuring Mammootty and Jyotika’s characters embracing each other. They both are seen in a tense and sad mood in the poster.
Kaathal-The Core is written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria.
The music is composed by Mathews Pulickan. Salu K Thomas is the cinematographer. Francies Louis is the editor.
