An interesting second-look poster of Mammootty-Jyothika starrer ‘Kaathal’ keeps the audience waiting for the movie

Kaathal -The Core has been in the news for some time now as South Indian actress Jyothika is working in a Malayalam movie after a very long time.

The movie is directed by Jeo Baby, who has earlier done critically acclaimed films like The Great Indian Kitchen (2021), Sree Dhanya Catering Service (2022), and a short movie in the anthology Freedom Fight (2022)

Mammootty and Jyothika’s characters in the second look poster look a bit serious. In the movie’s first look poster, both appeared like a very happy family.

Kaathal marks Jyotika’s return to the Malayalam film industry after 12 years. She had earlier acted in Seethakalyanam (2009) directed by Rajeev Kumar.

Earlier, Tamil Superstar Suriya had said that Kaathal’s theme was the one that attracted him the most. Every moviegoer is waiting for the release update of the movie. 

Jeo Baby has an impressive track record as his films, such as The Great Indian Kitchen, dealt with issues faced by women in a male-dominated society.

He then directed a short film that was part of the anthology film Freedom Fight. The movie went on to show the issues faced by old people, and it was titled Old Age Home.

The movie features Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Alistair Alex, Anagha Aku, Josie Sijo, Adarsh ​​Sukumaran and others in important roles. 

Kaathal is produced by Mammootty Kampany and distributed by Dulquer Salman’s Wayfarer Films. Salu K Thomas is the cinematographer of the movie while the screenplay is written by Adarsh ​​Sukumaran and Paulson Zakaria.

Mammootty’s earlier films like Rorschach (2022) and Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam (2022) had mesmerized audiences, and Kathal also has expectations from movie buffs as Mammootty is collaborating with Jeo Baby.
