Mammootty teams up with Vysakh and Midhun Manuel Thomas for ‘Turbo’

The Malayalam movie, produced by the actor's Mammootty Kampany, went on floors on 24 October on the occasion of Dasara.

Malayalam cinema’s veteran Mammootty is set to star in director Vysakh’s upcoming film Turbo, the makers announced on Tuesday, 24 October.

Turbo is penned by Midhun Manuel Thomas who earlier wrote films like Ancham Pathira and the Aadu movie franchise.

This is the fifth production venture under Mammootty’s banner Mammootty Kampany.

The movie went on floors on Tuesday on the occasion of Dasara.

Title revealed by Mammootty Kampany

Mammootty Kampany revealed the title of the film on its official social media pages.

“Presenting the Title Look Poster of Our 5th Production Venture @TurbotheFilm – Directed by Vysakh & Written By Midhun Manuel Thomas.

“Get ready to feel the real power as we pack our best punch… The shoot starts today. Stay tuned to this space for further updates. #Mammootty #MammoottyKampany #TurboMovie,” the production house said in the post.

The makers also released photographs from the switch-on ceremony of the film on social media.

Mammootty’s latest release is Kannur Squad, the Malayalam-language crime thriller which hit the screens last month.
