Foreign schedule of 'L2: Empuraan' ends

Mohanlal’s next big-budget movie, L2: Empuraan, is one of the most anticipated movies in Malayalam. The team recently wrapped up the shooting schedule in the UK and the US.

In a new update, Prithviraj Sukumaran, the director of L2: Empuraan, shared that the foreign schedule of the film was over and the crew was returning to their home turf to finish the rest of the shooting.

According to him, the team completed 20 percent of the shooting.

Sharing a picture of his from the sets, actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran wrote on his social media handles: “On to home turf next! #L2E #Empuraan”

After finishing the foreign schedule of L2: Empuraan, Prithviraj recently returned to Kerala for the promotional activities of his Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life).

Mohanlal also returned to India. He is currently hosting the new season of the reality show Bigg Boss.

L2: Empuraan, the sequel to Mohanlal’s blockbuster movie Lucifer, was announced in 2022.

It is the most anticipated project of Mohanlal as Lucifer was a mega-hit and shattered the collection figures big time.

Lucifer was produced by Aashirwad Productions and helmed by Antony Perumbavoor, a close associate of Mohanlal.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz will be released soon. The makers released a poster for the New Year.

Later, the actor will work on Tharun Moorthy’s untitled flick.

He will also be seen in Rambaan, directed by veteran filmmaker Joshiy.

The Malayalam Superstar is also a part of other non-Malayalam films like Vrishabha and Kannappa. Both are touted to be pan-Indian projects.
