National Film Awards: Allu Arjun congratulates teams ‘Aattam’ and ‘Karthikeya 2’

While 'Aattam' won the Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing awards, 'Karthikeya 2' bagged the Best Telugu Film Award.

National Film Awards: Allu Arjun congratulates team 'Aattam' and 'Karthikeya 2'

Telugu star hero Allu Arjun has congratulated team Aattam, which won the Best Film Award at the 70th National Film Awards 2024. The Malayalam movie also bagged awards in the Best Screenplay and Best Editing categories.

While Anand Ekarshi won the Best Screenplay Award, editor Bhuvanend was declared the Best Editor.

Congratulating team Aattam, Allu Arjun wrote on his X handle: “Warmest congratulations to @ekarshi_anand Garu for winning Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay, and to #MaheshBhuvanend Garu for Best Editing at the National Film Awards for Malayalam Cinema. Best wishes to the entire team of #Aattam!”

The Telugu actor was honoured with the Best Actor Award at the 69th National Awards 2023 for his splendid performance in the blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise (2021).

Allu Arjun also congratulated the other winners of the 70th National Film Awards 2024. He extended his heartfelt wishes to Kannada actor Rishab Shetty for winning the Best Actor Award for Kantara (2022). He also congratulated Nithya Menen for clinching the Best Actress Award for her performance in Thiruchitrambalam (2022).

Further, the actor expressed his happiness as the Telugu film Karthikeya 2 won the Best Telugu Film Award. It was helmed by director Chandoo Mondeti and headlined by Nihkil Siddhath.

“Hearty Congratulations to @Actor_Nikhil garu, Director @chandoomondeti garu, @AAArtsOfficial, @peoplemediafcy, and the entire team of #Karthikeya2 for winning the National Award for Best Telugu Film,” his post read.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie Pushpa: The Rule or Pushpa 2 will be released on 6 December this year.

The actor hasn’t done any film during these three years and has been busy working on the sequel to Pushpa. The much-hyped film is directed by Sukumar, who also helmed the first part.

Pushpa 2 is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

The movie also stars Rashmika Mandana and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. Its music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
