Box-office tsunami ‘Animal’ pushes director Sandeep Reddy Vanga into dilemma?

As predicted by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the pan-Inida film not only made massive money but also attracted criticism for the portrayal of gore and sex. Now, its success has stirred up various rumours surrounding the filmmaker.

Though Sandeep Reddy Vanga will be directing Prabhas’ next film, rumours are doing the rounds about his upcoming project. It looks like the audience is still basking in the impact of Animal and eager for more. The ongoing discussions on Animal Park on social media fueled the rumours.

Bollywood sources indicate that Sandeep Reddy is contemplating working on another project to aim for a quicker turnaround. While the new script may not be as ambitious as Animal in terms of budget and cast, the director could capitalise on the craze generated by his latest blockbuster.

The project is currently in the discussion phase, and although T-Series is reportedly prepared to produce it, Vanga is exercising caution until the script is finalised.

If everything goes well, Ranbir Kapoor could potentially play the lead role before embarking on his next project Ramayana.
