Directed by Warangal-based filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal is running to packed houses in the multiplexes in major cities.
However, the latest Bollywood release — Sam Bahadur, a biographical war drama of field marshal Sam Manekshaw, gave stiff competition to the Hindi version of Animal in many regions.
The Telugu version of Animal collected more than ₹25 crore in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

People who watched the pan-Indian movie are grooving to the Persian song “Jamal Jamaloo”, which comes in the background when Bobby Deol is introduced.
