‘Premalu’ Telugu to debut on Disney+ Hotstar on this date

The success of Premalu can be partly credited to Rajamouli’s promotion and Superstar Mahesh Babu’s positive endorsement.

The popular OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar has bought the digital rights for the film.

It is anticipated that the movie will be available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in multiple languages from 29 March.

An official clarification has been issued regarding the release of the film.

Premalu Telugu earned ₹4.25 crore from the Telugu states and $186K (₹1.55 crore) from overseas. It grossed over $200K from the USA.

Meanwhile, the Tamil dubbed version of Premalu was released in theatres across Tamil Nadu on 15 March.

Originally released as a short romantic comedy-drama, the flick has transcended regional boundaries to become a pan-India success.

There’s speculation that it might also make waves on OTT platforms unexpectedly.

Mamitha Baiju’s rising popularity

Meanwhile, the photos of actor Mamitha Baiju are going viral along with various aspects related to her.

During the success meet, Mamitha received accolades from Rajamouli himself, further fueling discussions about her on social media platforms.

Premalu has grossed over ₹100 crore in the Malayalam market alone.
