Reports say the postponement comes in the wake of the delay in the post-production work of Mohanlal's 'Barroz'.

We have earlier reported that Mohanlal’s upcoming film, tentatively titled L360, will be released this year. But now, unconfirmed reports suggest that the Malayalam movie will be released only in 2025.
This means fans and movie buffs will have to wait a little more to watch the evergreen combination of Mohanlal and Shobana on the silver screen.
L360 has reportedly been postponed due to the delay in the post-production work of Mohanlal’s debut directorial Barroz. The 3D fantasy film was supposed to hit the theatres on 12 September for Onam. However, the post-production work is taking longer than expected. As a result, Barroz will all likely be pushed to October for Dasara.
Amid these circumstances, the makers of L360 are believed to have decided to release the film next year so both movies won’t clash at the box office.
It is speculated that the Tharun Moorthy directorial will be released only in January 2025, which will make L360 the first Malayalam film to be released next year.
L360 marks the reunion of Mohanlal and Shobana after 15 years. Earlier, the duo was seen together in the 2009 film Sagar Alias Jacky.
Some of Shobana-Mohanlals hit films include Pakshe (1994), Minnaram (1994), Manichithrathazhu (1994), and Thenmavin Kombathu (1994).
M Renjith of Rejaputhra Visual Media is bankrolling L360. It was written by Tharun Moorthy and KR Sunil. Nishad Yusuf is the editor and Vishnu Govind is the sound designer.
Jakes Bejoy is composing the music. He teamed up with Tharun Moorthy earlier for Operation Java (2021).
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is busy with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial L2: Empuraan, a sequel to the blockbuster movie Lucifer (2019). The veteran actor is joining hands with Sathyan Anthikad for Hridaya Poorvam.
He is also part of Olavum Theeravum, which is part of the Manorathangal anthology series to be premiered on ZEE5 on 15 August. Filmmaker Priyadarshan is the showrunner of the web series and he directed the story.
Priyadarshan, a close friend of Mohanlal, recently expressed his wish to do his 100th movie with the latter. The ace director helmed over 95 films so far.
