Team L360 announces a schedule break

Expectations are running sky-high for Mohanlal and Shobana’s upcoming Malayalam movie. Tentatively titled L360, the film was shot extensively for 72 days and is now on a schedule break.

On Friday, 5 July, L360 director Tharun Moorthy posted a video on his social media saying that the crew is on a brief break from the schedule.

Mohanlal also spoke in the video. “I have been working as an actor for 47 years, and this film feels like my debut film,” the actor noted while adding that “some films are close to his heart and this (L360) is one of them”.

Tharun Moorthys’ video also had some BTS (behind-the-scenes) moments from L360 sets.

The shooting will resume in the first week of August. Meanwhile, reports say Mohanlal will join the sets of Jeethu Joseph’s long-pending film RAM.

Mohanlal-Shobana’s reunion

L360 marks Mohanlal and Shobana’s reunion after 15 years. Earlier, the duo was seen together in Sagar Alias Jacky (2009).

When he joined the L360 shooting, Mohanlal took to social media saying, “On the set, joining in prayers as we commence filming the project led by director Tharun Moorthy and produced by M Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. I express my deepest gratitude and seek your blessings as I embark on my 360th film venture”.

Shobana also shared her excitement saying, “It’s a great day to announce that I am doing a Malayalam movie after a long gap. I am super excited. The director is Tharun Moorthy. Can you guess who the hero of the movie is? Yes, it is Mr Mohanlal.”

Mohanlal and Shobana delivered some memorable films like Pakshe (1994), Minnaram (1994), Manichithrathazhu (1994), and Thenmavin Kombathu (1994).

L360 is written by Tharun Moorthy and KR Sunil (a photographer, painter, and sculptor). M Renjith is bankrolling it under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.

Jakes Bejoy is composing the music. He teamed up with Tharun Moorthy earlier for Operation Java (2021).

Nishad Yusuf has been roped in as the editor and Vishnu Govind as the sound designer.
