Shashi Tharoor to receive highest French civilian honour

Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has been awarded the highest civilian honour of the French government, the prestigious Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur. Tharoor is a Lok Sabha member from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and he has been honoured for his writings and speeches promoting the Indo-French fraternity.
