KCR fulfills Telangana couple’s wishes, names their 9-year-old daughter ‘Mahati’

The girl's parents played an active part in the Telangana movement and wished that Telangana CM KCR named their child.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR, on Monday 19 September, gave a name to the 9-year-old daughter of a Telangana couple Suresh and Anitha. Both Suresh and Anitha belong to the Jayashankar Bhupalapally district and played an active role in the Telangana movement. They wished that KCR named their child and after waiting for nine years, KCR along with his wife K Shobha, named the girl ‘Mahati’ which means greatness.
