Synopsis: In a dated LinkedIn post, Nayan Reddy Anumula, son of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s brother Kondal Reddy, shared an article and claimed he has “been named to Forbes India 30 under 30, Year of 2026!” Except, he is neither in the list, nor has been featured in Forbes India as his post implies.
If social media handle bios were to go by, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s nephew, Nayan Reddy Anumula, would have you believe that he was featured in Forbes India 30 under 30 list. His LinkedIn bio reads: “Serial entrepreneur | Technology Visionary & Clean Energy Advocate | Forbes 30 Under 30 | Keynote Speaker.”
Other than a post announcing publicly that he was named to Forbes India 30 under 30, Year of 2026, Nayan Reddy Anumula even shared an article asking his followers to “Check out the full feature in Forbes India (9th Jan 2026 issue). But if one were to really ‘check out’ the edition, his name is missing from the 30 Under 30 list he so proudly flaunts on his bio.
Sources in Forbes India confirmed to South First that neither the person, nor the article page they shared is linked to Forbes India or its 30U30 list.

Nayan Reddy made the claim in a LinkedIn post a few months ago, writing, “Thrilled to share that I’ve been named to the Forbes India 30 Under 30, Year of 2026!”
Describing the recognition as a major professional achievement, he said he was being recognised among “India’s brightest minds driving transformative impact in tech and beyond.”
He further wrote that his journey had involved “bootstrapping AI solutions” and “scaling innovative products that blend entrepreneurship with real world change.”
The magazine’s Class of 2026 section contains the names of the selected honourees across its categories, but Nayan Reddy does not appear in that list. This creates a discrepancy between Nayan Reddy’s public claim and the contents of the Forbes India edition he cited.
The question is not merely whether Nayan Reddy was profiled somewhere under the Forbes name, but whether he was actually selected as a Forbes India 30 Under 30 honouree for 2026, as his LinkedIn post states.
Nayan Reddy’s LinkedIn profile identifies him with Tessaract Advanced Systems and describes him as an entrepreneur working in technology and related fields. His profile carries the Forbes announcement as a public post.
In the post, he said the recognition was a “huge honor” and credited his team, mentors, family and collaborators.
He wrote: “From bootstrapping AI solutions to scaling innovative products that blend entrepreneurship with real world change, this journey has been fueled by relentless vision and grit.”
He concluded the announcement by asking his followers, “What’s your bold move for 2026?”
The post also includes an image carrying the headline “A VISIONARY ENTREPRENEUR DRIVING TRANSFORMATIVE IMPACT”, presented as a profile of Nayan Reddy.
South First reached out to Forbes India by email seeking confirmation on whether Nayan Reddy was selected for the Forbes India 30 Under 30 Class of 2026 and whether the profile shared on his LinkedIn account was published by Forbes India. South First also contacted Nayan Reddy through LinkedIn seeking clarification about his claim.
Sources familiar with the Forbes India editorial process confirmed to South First that Nayan Reddy’s name does not feature in the 2026 Forbes India 30 Under 30 list and that the profile shared by him is not a Forbes India editorial article. Nayan Reddy had not responded to South First‘s queries at the time of publication.
Forbes India describes its 30 Under 30 as an annual selection of young achievers across multiple categories. The 2026 edition included categories covering areas such as technology, business, entertainment, sports, advertising and marketing, defence and space, among others.
The official Forbes India 30 Under 30 2026 page also lists the selected honourees. Nayan Reddy’s name does not appear among the names indexed on the official list.
That makes the wording of his LinkedIn announcement significant. He did not describe himself merely as someone featured by Forbes or associated with a Forbes-branded article. He specifically stated that he had been “named to the Forbes India 30 Under 30” and directed readers to the 9 January issue.
The Forbes claim comes at a time when Nayan Reddy’s professional background is already attracting political attention in Telangana.
Nayan Reddy is the son of Anumula Kondal Reddy, the younger brother of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
His name has figured prominently in allegations raised by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) over the allotment of five acres of government land in Raviryala, Rangareddy district, to Tessaract Advanced Systems Private Limited.
The BRS has alleged that the land, which it claims has a market value of between ₹135 crore and ₹200 crore, was allotted for approximately ₹7-7.5 crore. The opposition has sought an inquiry into the allotment and alleged links between the company and members of the Chief Minister’s family.
The BRS has specifically pointed to public professional profiles to allege that Kondal Reddy identified himself as chairman of Tessaract, while Nayan Reddy had identified himself as the company’s CEO.
According to the allegations placed before the Telangana Lokayukta, Nayan Reddy had been working as CEO since January 2025, several months before the June 2025 land allotment.
The opposition has also questioned the company’s reported paid-up capital of ₹1 lakh and its reported employee count for the financial year ending March 2025.
These claims form part of the BRS’s broader allegation that the government land allotment benefited a company linked to the Chief Minister’s family.

The Telangana government has rejected the allegations of wrongdoing.
Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu has said that Tessaract Advanced Systems has no connection with the Chief Minister’s brother and has described the allegations as politically motivated.
The government has maintained that the land allotment followed the prescribed process and was made for an industrial project in the aerospace and defence sector.
Tessaract Advanced Systems has also denied allegations of irregularity, saying the land acquisition process took about 15 months and that it paid the applicable fees under the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation process.
