Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday, 7 February, charged that four district collectors in the state were looting the state through the Dharani portal — a one-stop destination for agricultural land registrations — and earning money.
The money looted by the four officers was given to the family of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to gain promotions, he alleged.
“We are collecting evidence and once we make it public, then the officers’ image will be affected,” he said, warning that the BJP would certainly look into the behaviour of these four officers after coming to power in the next Assembly polls.
He was addressing party leaders at a workshop organised at Manneguda in Ibrahimpatnam.
The workshop was organised for speakers who will attend 11,000 street corner meetings to be conducted as part of “Praja Gosa – BJP Bharosa” from 10 to 25 February.

Bandi Sanjay posed a challenge to AIMIM to contest in 119 Assembly seats in Telangana if it felt that it was really working for the community. “We are ready to ensure not to get deposits to its candidates if AIMIM contests in all the 119 seats in the state,” he said.
Bandi Sanjay said that the Congress was losing its sheen in the state and that the people felt that voting for the party was like voting for BRS.
He stated that all the parties were coming together to defeat the BJP in Telangana and added that whenever elections are held, the BJP was ready to contest and come to power.
If the BJP was voted to power, then it will build houses for all the poor and needy, and provide compensation to farmers who lost crops under Fasal Bima Yojana, he stated.
The party will also provide free quality medical care to all those who deserve it, he added.
Bandi Sanjay said that other political parties have no idea how to discuss the development of the country and welfare of the people.
He stated that while these parties were concerned about how to come to power and how to earn money, the BJP is working for an ideology and moving ahead with determination to come to power and continue Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule whenever elections are held in Telangana.
According to Bandi Sanjay, the BJP is organising street corner meetings to highlight the failures of the BRS and showcase how the BJP is fighting for the sake of people.
He insisted that, at the same time, the achievements of the central government should be explained. The BJP is the only party in Telangana to create history by holding 15 public meetings in a year, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have visited Telangana three times each, while the party’s national president JP Nadda visited four times to strengthen the party on all fronts, he recounted.
The BJP is taking up several agitations to fight against the BRS government and put an end to the corrupt regime in the state, he stated.
As a result of the BJP’s struggles, the people now believe that the BJP is a party that fights fiercely and does not hesitate to make sacrifices, he added.
“If we together successfully hold 11,000 street corner meetings, the BJP will win polls easily and come to power,” said Bandi Sanjay.
Moreover, the people are hoping that the BJP will come to power this time, he said optimistically.
A recent survey revealed that the BJP will come to power in Telangana, he said and added that the chief minister was propagating false information that the BRS is winning elections.
Since the BJP waged a war against him, KCR has came out of his farmhouse, stated Bandi Sanjay.
He added that when the people decided to support the BJP in the next elections, KCR renamed TRS as BRS and started a new drama.
