Vijay Devarakonda to ace Rayalaseema dialect in Rahul Sankrityan's next

Telugu sensation Vijay Deverakonda looks steadfast despite setbacks in his last two outings in Tollywood. Though The Family Star did not do well at the box office, he bagged three new projects.

The actor okayed a film with director Gautham Tinnanuri.

He also gave a green light to the venture under the direction of Ravi Kiran and produced by Dil Raju. The possible title for the film is Rowdy Janardhan.

Additionally, Vijay Deverakonda signed a movie with Rahul Sankrityan, marking their second collaboration after Taxiwala (2018).

Director Rahul Sankrityan, who had great success with Taxiwala, and then with Nani-starrer Shyam Singha Roy (2021), is optimistic to pull out another success in his career.

The filmmaker, who took a long gap after his debut film, is doing the same for the third film. He is starting his next two years after the release of Shyam Singha Roy. However, this time, he is making a period drama in the background of Rayalaseema with Vijay in the lead.

The Rowdy Star is usually hailed for bringing his own style and diction while speaking in the Telangana dialect. He has not yet tried Andhra and Rayalaseema dialects in his flicks.

Now, it is interesting to imagine how Vijay Deverakonda will adapt to the Rayalaseema language and accent in Rahul Sankrityan’s next.

Though there are doubts about his portrayal of such characters, fans believe the Rowdy Star will kill it on the screen.

However, an announcement is still awaited on this project.
