After reeling under a dull period, Telugu cinema is expected to bounce back in May 2024.
The previous month, April, went unnoticed with no major stars showing their stealth at the box office.
As summer reaches its peak in May, a few films are ready to pull the crowds to theatres.

A romcom starring Allari Naresh and Faria Abdullah, Aa Okkati Adakku is releasing in theatres on 3 May.
Directed by Malli Ankam, the film is produced under the banner of Chilaka Productions.
The movie also stars comedian Vennela Kishore, Jamie Lever, Viva Harsha, and Ariyana Glory in key roles.
Aa Okkati Adakku revolves around the hilarious misadventures of the protagonist, played by Allari Naresh. It is touted to be a hilarious comedy entertainer with family drama.

This small-budget film headlined by Rakesh Varre will hit the screens on 3 May.
Jithender Reddy is touted to be an action drama based on real-life events from the 1980s.
The first-look poster, released some time ago, left the audience intrigued.
The film is directed by Virinchi Varma.
It stars Vaishali Raj and Riya Suman in key roles.
It is produced under the banner Muduganti Creations.
The music is rendered by Gopi Sundar.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is excited about her upcoming project Sabari.
This is the second pan-Indian film of the actor after her recent blockbuster hit Hanu-Man.
Directed by debutant Anil Katz, Sabari is slated for release on 3 May.
Praising Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s talent, Anil described her as an immensely gifted actor. He also expressed his delight in working with her.
Sabari also stars Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Mime Gopi, Sunaina, Baby Krithika, Rajashri Nair, Bhadram, Phani, Krishna Teja, Prabhu, Archana Ananth, and Keshav Deepak in key roles.
