The actor becomes the first South Indian star hero to gain 25 million Instagram followers. He is currently shooting for 'Pushpa: The Rule'.

Allu Arjun first South India hero to gain 25 million instagram followers

Tollywood’s Icon Star Allu Arjun has created a new record on Instagram by winning as many as 25 million followers.

Thus, he became the first and the only South Indian star hero to achieve this milestone.

The actor celebrated this special moment on his Instagram handle with a thank-you post.

Allu Arjun’s Instagram post read: “25 M. Thank You. Grateful Forever 🖤”

While Ram Charan has 20.8 million Instagram followers, Superstar Mahesh Babu has 13.4 million, Jr NTR has 7.3 million, Chiranjeevi has 3.1 million, and Pawan Kalyan has 2.5 million followers.

Allu Arjun gained international popularity with the film Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar. He won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 2021 release.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently shooting for Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule. It will be released in theatres worldwide on 15 August.

The actor recently visited Visakhapatnam to film the crucial scenes for the flick.

Trade analysts predict that Pushpa 2 has the potential to reach a staggering ₹500 crore at the Bollywood box office.

In February, the actor visited Berlin to attend the special screening of his super hit film Pushpa: The Rule at the 74th Berlin Film Festival aka Berlinale.

Addressing the gathering, Allu Arun said they have plans to develop Pushpa into a multipart franchise.

All Arjun plays Pushparaj, a lorry driver who becomes a sandalwood smuggler in Pushpa. Rashmika Mandanna plays Srivalli, Pushparaj’s wife. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil plays SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS.
