Pushpa: The Rule aka Pushpa 2, starring Icon Star Allu Arjun, is one of the highly-anticipated pan-India films of this year.
The excitement in North India is palpable as the first instalment, Pushpa: The Rise, was a massive success. It grossed a whopping ₹108 crore net in the Hindi belt alone.
Trade analysts predict that Pushpa 2 has the potential to reach a staggering ₹500 crore at the Bollywood box office.
Director Sukumar is determined to release Pushpa 2 on 15 August, no matter what.
Additionally, it is learnt that there will be Pushpa 3. It is reported in a few media outlets that Allu Arjun himself clarified on Pushpa 3.
The Tollywood star actor graced the 74th Berlin Film Festival in Germany as a special guest. His videos and pics of the event went viral on social media.
Addressing the international media on the occasion, Allu Arjun raised a few interesting points.
He spoke about the importance of Indian cinema and then hinted that they work on Pushpa 3 soon after the release of Pushpa 2.
Allu Arjun said he has a few interesting projects in the pipeline and they will be made on an epic scale.
The actor added that they have plans to develop Pushpa into a multipart franchise.
All Arjun plays Pushparaj, a lorry driver who becomes a sandalwood smuggler in the film.
Rashmika Mandanna plays Srivalli, Pushparaj’s wife.
Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil plays SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS.
