Shane Nigam's 25th film in an action entertainer

Malayalam actor Shane Nigam’s 25th film will be an intense action thriller. The actor recently announced the news on social media and released a poster. The announcement poster featured him in a fierce look.

Shane Nigam also revealed the details of the crew of his 25th film and hinted that it will deal with the Kabaddi sport.

The movie is written and directed by debutant Unni Sivalingam, who worked as an assistant director in Saheed Arafath’s Thankam (2023).

Santhosh T Kuruvilla and Binu Alexander George are producing the venture under the banner of STK Frames.

According to the makers, the movie is centred around four kabaddi players and will be an action-packed mass entertainer. It will also cast actors from the Tamil industry, making it a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual.

Further, it will be shot majorly in Palakkad and Coimbatore. The shooting is expected to begin soon. More details about the cast and the crew are yet to be announced.

Shane Nigam was last seen in Aby Treesa Paul and Anto Jose Pereira’s Little Hearts. The movie featured the actor in a comedy role, along with Baburaj.

The actor recently completed the shooting of his Tamil debut, Madraskaaran. Rangoli (2023)-fame Vaali Mohan Das is wielding the megaphone.

The actor is currently working on Haal, a romantic entertainer directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar. In the film’s teaser, the makers recreated renowned Ghazal singer Ustad Mehdi Hassan’s popular rendition, “Rafta Rafta Woh Meri“. Shane Nigam lent his voice to the song written by Tasleem Fazli.

Earlier, renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam sang a song for Haal.

Shane Nigam’s RDX (2023), directed by Nahas Hidayath, grossed over ₹100 crore globally. His Bermuda, under the direction of TK Rajeev Kumar, wrapped up the shoot and is yet to be released.

Meanwhile, producer Santhosh T Kuruvilla, who backed Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016) and Nna Thaan Case Kodu (2022), is now bankrolling Rajesh Madhavan’s directorial debut titled Pennum Porattam.
