Madraskaaran shooting wrapped up

Malayalam actor Shane Nigam’s Tamil debut movie—Madraskaaran, has wrapped up the shooting.

It is directed by Vaali Mohan Das Murugan, who earlier helmed the romantic entertainer Rangoli (2023).

Telugu actor Niharika Kondinela is the leading lady. In Madraskaaran, Shane Nigam plays a youngster hailing from Madurai.

The emotional drama will showcase the actor in two different shades. The movie is about an ego clash between two characters.

Madraskaaran also stars Kalaiyarasan, Aishwarya Dutta, and Karunas in crucial roles.

B Jagadish is producing the flick under the banner of SR Productions.

The music is being composed by Sam CS.

BTS video out

On Wednesday, 5 June, the makers of Madraskaaran released a Behind-The-Scenes  (BTS) video and confirmed that they wrapped up the shoot.

The BTS video shows some thrilling action sequences and heart-warming emotional scenes.

If Madraskaaran does well, Shane Nigam is likely to turn into a bankable actor in Tamil, too.

The actor made a mark in the Malayalam film industry with Ishq (2019) and Kumbalangi Nights (2019).

His upcoming film Little Hearts is slated for release on 7 June.

Little Hearts stars Shane pairing up with Mahima Nambiar, for the second time after the superhit film RDX (2023).

RDX was a high-octane action flick directed by Nahas Hidhayath. It was a blockbuster hit and entered the elite ₹100-crore club.

Shane Nigam will next be seen in Haal under the direction of Prasanth Vijayakumar. It is produced under the banner of  JVJ Productions.

Haal is believed to be one of the highest-budget films in Shane Nigam’s career. It will be shot in various locations, including Kozhikode, Mysore, and Jordan.

It will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

Now that Shane wrapped up the shooting of Madraskaaran, he will soon join team Haal.

The film also marks the debut of Bollywood playback singer Atif Aslam in the Malayalam industry.

The makers of Haal recently recorded the song abroad. A popular female singer lent her voice as well.

Atif Aslam is returning to the Indian film industry after a long hiatus of seven years.
