Atif Aslam debuts in Malayalam, lends his voice to Shane Nigam’s ‘Haal’

Atif Aslam sang a song for Shane Nigam's Haal

Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has sung a song in Shane Nigam’s forthcoming movie Haal

The playback singer is known for his chartbusters like “Aadat”, “Woh Lamhe“, “Pehli Nazar Mein, and “Tera Hone Laga Hoon“.

Haal marks the debut of Atif Aslam in the Malayalam film industry.

Shane Nigam posted a picture with Atif Aslam on his Instagram page confirming the news.

The song recording was held abroad. A popular female singer also lent her voice to the tune.

This is Atif Aslam’s return to the Indian film industry after a hiatus of almost seven years.

In his post, Shane Nigam wrote: “Adat, woh lamhe, tere bin and almost all your songs are the ones that is always close to my heart. Your voice soothes our soul. I am truly blessed to have gotten the opportunity to meet you and have you lend your voice for a song in haal. I am already addicted to this song, I hope everyone will love it too.”

The song is composed by debutant Nandagopan V and the lyrics are penned by Mridul Meer and Neeraj Kumar.

Directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar, Haal is bankrolled by JVJ Productions.

Nishad Koya (known for his films like Ordinary), Madhura Naranga, Thopil Joppan, and Shikari Sambhu wrote this musical love story.

Haal claims to be one of the highest-budget films in Shane Nigam’s career and will be an out-and-out entertainer.

Haal will be shot in locations like Kozhikode, Mysore, and Jordan. The shooting will commence in Kozhikode by the first week of May.

Shane Nigam will join the sets after completing the Tamil film Madraskaran.

Haal will be simultaneously released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

The cinematography is by Karthik Muthukumar and the editing is by Sreejith Sarang.
