Premalu fame Naslen Gafoor is working on his next film with Khalid Rahman, who directed Thallumala. The sports drama now has a title.
The makers on Tuesday, 1 October, announced that the title of the film is Alappuzha Gymkhana, along with the first look poster of the film.
The poster showed a silhouette of a young man with boxing gloves, and dumbells in the background, emphasizing the genre of the film.
Sharing the title and poster on social media, the makers wrote: “Step into the ring! Plan B Motion Pictures, in association with Reelistic Studios, proudly unveils the official title and first look of ‘Alappuzha Gymkhana’! – Directed by Khalid Rahman. Produced by Khalid Rahman, Jobin George, Sameer Karat, and Subeesh Kannanchery, this bout is packed with a knockout cast.”
“The gloves are off, and the fight is just beginning—stay tuned for more updates!” they added.

Apart from Naslen, the film also has actors Lukman Avaran, Franco Francis, rapper Baby Jean, Shiva Hariharan, Shon Joy, Karthik, Nanda Nishanth, and Noila Francy in key roles.
The movie features Anagha Maya Ravi as the female lead. Khalid Rahman wrote the script, too.
The music will be composed by Vishnu Vijay, who scored superhit songs for Premalu (2024), Falimy (2023), and Thallumala (2022).
Shyju Khalid is the cinematographer for Alappuzha Gymkhana.
Apart from Alappuzha Gymkhana, Naslen is also working under Arun Dominic. The yet-to-be-titled film is being bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer films and has Kalyani Priyadarshan opposite him.
Naslen has I Am Kathalan and Premalu 2 in the pipeline. Both films are with director Girish AD, who previously helmed Premalu.
On the other hand, Naslen rose to fame with his recent box office hit Premalu (2024). The film, set in Hyderabad, was a coming-of-age story of a Malayali couple.
