Malaikottai Vaaliban trailer launched

The wait is finally over. The trailer of Mohanlal’s eagerly-awaited film Malaikottai Vaaliban is out.

As soon as the trailer was released on Thursday night, 18 January, movie lovers lauded this cinematic marvel directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery.

Netizens raved about the film for its rich visuals and grandeur.

The trailer of Malaikottai Vaaliban gave a glimpse into the story, which happens in a highly-populated terrain. The negative characters were introduced with a mask on their faces.

Mohanlal, as Malaikottai Vaaliban, was shown at the end of the trailer. However, he made a grand entry.

Malaikottai Vaaliban was portrayed as the saviour of these people. He appeared from an array of men in a crowd.

Also, the trailer revealed that the Mangodu ring wielded deceit, not sportsmanship.

The trailer had bloodshed. “Men who oppose the rule are mercilessly killed, and there is fear and bloodshed everywhere,” says the voiceover.

The stunning visuals by Madhu Neelakandan became the highlight of the trailer.

However, the trailer did not give any idea about the genre of the movie.

Malaikottai Vaaliban offers a cinematic experience’

Soon after the trailer was dropped, social media was flooded with posts claiming that Malaikottai Vaaliban would be a visual wonder.

“This movie promises an amazing theatrical experience. Some of the shots in this trailer are insanely good. This is going to be a piece of art no matter what happens at the box office,” a social media post read.

“Mohanlal worked a lot on this movie, and hard work never fails. The cinematography looks excellent, Mohanlal and LJP will hopefully produce magic this time,” another movie buff wrote.

Malaikottai Vaaliban casts Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, and Manikandan Achari.

It is produced jointly by John Mary Creative, Max Labs, Century Films, and Saregama.

It is scripted by PS Rafeeque, who earlier worked with Lijo on Nayakan and Amen.

Malaikottai Vaaliban is slated for release on 25 January in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
