Mohanlal lends his voice to the ‘Raakk’ song in ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’

The first single from Malaikottai Vaaliban was released a week ago. The melody got a good response from the movie buffs.

Describing the essence of the song, scriptwriter-lyricist Rafeeq said, “The Raakk song captures the essence of travellers spending their nights in a rest house. The real highlight of the song is Mohanlal’s soulful rendition, delivered with utmost beauty and vibrancy.”

He added, “While every song in the movie is special, some gain extra significance due to their unique backstories, and the ‘Raakk’ song is one such special gem.”

The makers recently released the posters of the movie with some breathtaking shots. The teaser of this period drama was also launched recently where Mohanlal was seen in a never-seen-before avatar.

Malaikottai Vaaliban marks the first project of Yoodlee Films with Mohanlal. It will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan Achari play key roles in it.

Madhu Neelakandan is the cinematographer.

John & Mary Creative, Max Labs, Century Films, and Saregama India Ltd are bankrolling Malaikottai Vaaliban.

The script is by PS Rafeeque, who earlier worked with Lijo Jose in Nayakan (2010) and Amen (2013).
