Malaikottai Vaaliban to release in two parts

On 25 January, all eyes will be on Mohanlal’s much-anticipated Malaikottai Vaaliban. The pan-India film is all geared up to hit the marquee on the said date.

The recent buzz is that the movie will have two parts. As per industry insiders, Malaikottai Vaaliban won’t be a single film and will be released in two parts.

Meanwhile, there were reports that Mohanlal and Lijo Jose Pellissery would come together for another film after the actor wraps up Joshiy’s Rambaan.

In Malaikottai Vaaliban, Mohanlal will be playing the role of a wrestler from the pre-Independence era. Part 2 will most likely be a sequel to the movie.

On Christmas day, 25 December, the makers unveiled a poster featuring Mohanlal in the avatar of “Aghori Sadhu”.

The makers also unveiled a poster where Mohanlal is seen engaged in a fight in a desert.

All these posters piqued the curiosity of movie buffs and Mohanlal’s fans.

Mohanlal is teaming up with director Lijo Jose Pellissery for the first time for Malaikottai Vaaliban, which in itself is one of the highlights of this period movie.

The makers released three songs from the film composed by Prasanth Pillai.

A breathtaking teaser of the flick was launched last year where Mohanlal was seen in a never-seen-before avatar.

Malaikottai Vaaliban marks the first project of Yoodlee Films with Mohanlal. It will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan Achari play significant roles in it.

Madhu Neelakandan is the cinematographer.

John & Mary Creative, Max Labs, Century Films, and Saregama India Ltd are bankrolling it.
