Mammootty’s next release would be Turbo. It is expected to be released in May. Meanwhile, the shooting of his upcoming movie Bazooka has been wrapped up.
The makers of Bazooka shared the new update in a social media post on Friday, 22 March.
Bazooka is written and directed by Deeno Dennis, son of veteran writer Kaloor Dennis.
Touted to be a thriller, the film also casts Shine Tom Chacko and Gayathri Iyer in key roles.
The first-look poster of Bazooka, released last year, featured Mammootty in a stylish avatar. Clad in a brown shirt and black jeans, the Malayalam Superstar sports a ponytail and beard while standing beside a stylish bike.
Tamil director-actor Gautam Vasudev Menon also plays the lead in the flick. He will appear as Benjamin Joshua. He looked uber-cool in a poster unveiled on his birthday, 27 February.
Bazooka is jointly produced by Saregama and Theatre of Dreams. The big-budget movie was shot in 90 days.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s Bramayugam grossed over ₹60 crore worldwide and is still going strong at the box office.
