Second-look poster of Turbo

The makers of Mammootty’s Turbo launched the second-look poster at the success event of Kaathal-The Core (2023) and Kannur Squad (2023) in Kochi on Friday, 23 February.

The Malayalam film wrapped its shooting recently. It is helmed by director Vysakh.

Mammootty is collaborating with Vysakh for the third time after their successful ventures — Pokkiri Raja (2010) and Madhura Raja (2019).

In the second-look poster, Mammootty sits inside a police station with two other people. It reminds us of a scene from his flick Thommanum Makkalum (2005).

Soon after its launch, the new poster went viral on social media.

The first-look poster of this action entertainer featured Mammootty with short hair.

The film also casts Kannada actor Raj B Shetty in a key role. This is Raj B Shetty’s second Malayalam film after his debut in Rudhiram, now in post-production.

Telugu actor Sunil is also part of the movie.

Turbo is the fifth production venture of Mammootty’s banner — Mammootty Kampany. The shooting of the big-budget film began on the occasion of Dasara.

The script is written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, who did a good job with Mammootty’s extended cameo role in his latest directorial Abraham Ozler (2024).

Turbo has cinematography by Vishnu Sarma. Christo Xavier and Justin Varghese composed the music. Shameer Muhammed is the editor.
