‘Bramayugam’ collects ₹60 crore worldwide, to debut on Sony Liv on 15 March

The Mammootty-starrer collected a gross of ₹50 crore in 11 days and around ₹22  crore at the Kerala box office.

Bramayugam collects ₹60 crore worldwide

Bramayugam, Mammootty’s latest release, has collected around ₹60 crore at the global box office.

On Tuesday, 5 March, the makers announced on social media that the film raked in ₹60 crore worldwide in 25 days.

Their post read: “Box Office Sensation ✨ #Bramayugam Running Successfully In Cinemas Worldwide!”

Helmed by Rahul Sadhasivan, the Mammootty-starrer collected a gross of ₹50 crore in just 11 days.

According to the Sacnilk tracking website, the flick raked in around ₹22  crore at the Kerala box office alone.

In its first week, Bramayugam eared around ₹17.85 crore from the domestic market. It is now inching towards the ₹100-crore club.

Bramayugam is the second flick to enter the ₹50-crore club in Malayalam after director Girish AD’s latest outing Premalu.

Meanwhile, Manjummel Boys surpassed all the records and earned over ₹100 crore.

Bramayugam to premiere on Sony Liv

The Rahul Sadhasivam’s directorial was well-received by audiences and critics.

Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios bankrolled it.

The movie was shot entirely in Black-and-White. Mammootty’s character of a sorcerer, named Kodumon Potty, caught the fancy of filmgoers and fans.

Bramayugam had a successful theatrical run and is now gearing up for its OTT premiere.

The horror thriller will be premiered on 15 March on Sony Liv. Sony Liv made an announcement to this effect on the X platform.

Bramayugam is Mammootty’s third movie to enter the ₹50-crore club in consecutive years, after Bheeshma Parvam (2022) and Kannur Squad (2023).

It features Arjun Ashokan, Siddharth Bharathan, Amalda Liz, and Manikandan Achary in key roles.
