Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya’s success dwindled after his Love Story (2021) tanked. Despite its success, Bangarraju (2022) didn’t break many records.
However, reports suggest that Chaitanya gave an opportunity to Virupaksha (2023) director Karthik Varma Dandu.
Sources say Naga Chaitanya and Karthik Varma’s project will be a crazy one and might take some time to begin since the actor is currently working on his upcoming film Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
The shooting of the new flick will commence shortly after Thandel wraps up.
It is learnt that Karthik Varma Dandu is choosing a subject with a touch of thriller for Naga Chaitanya’s movie.
Producer BVSN Prasad is bankrolling the film. There are reports that the project will be made with a huge budget. An official announcement regarding the venture will be made soon.
Naga Chaitanya is taking a lot of care in selecting the stories. Well, his future projects will decide his market.
Post the success of Karthik Dandu’s directorial Virupaksha, considerable time was dedicated to writing scripts.
It is learnt that filmmaker Sukumar is involved in producing this film. Naga Chaitanya tends to favour slower-paced films. He is currently taking a remuneration of ₹10 crore per movie, which might rise if Thandel proves successful at the box office.
