Team The Family Star released the third single — “Madhuramu Kadha” — on the occasion of Holi on Monday, 25 March. The lyrical video features Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Devarakonda.
Gopi Sundar composed the tune. Shreya Ghoshal sang the song. Shreemani penned the lyrics.
The song launch event held at a private residential gated community in Hyderabad was marked by a grand Holi event.
The Holi celebrations were attended by Vijay Devarakonda, Mrunal Thakur, and producer Dil Raju.
Expressing his gratitude, Dil Raju said, “It’s a story that mirrors middle-class families, capturing all their emotions through Vijay’s character. The songs, dialogues, and hero’s mannerisms will reflect your own life. On 5 April, we expect family audiences will flock to theatres.”
Inviting the family audience to watch the film, The Family Star lead actor Vijay Deverakonda shared he used to avoid the Holi festival during my school days, fearing the colours would stain. “However, celebrating Holi here with all of you feels like this is how the festival should be celebrated.”
Mrunal Thakur, too, greeted the people around and urged the family audience to see her movie in theatres.
The makers released the first single “Nandanandanaa” in February and the second single “Kalyani Vaccha Vaccha” on 12 March.
The Family Star is set for release on 5 April. The trailer will be out on 28 March.
