After facing a setback with Liger (2022), Telugu youth sensation Vijay Devarakonda received moderate success with his subsequent film Kushi (2023).

And now, the actor has pinned his hopes on his upcoming project The Family Star.

Directed by Parasuram — known for the blockbuster hit Geetha Govindam (2018), The Family Star has already generated quite a buzz with its teasers and glimpses, which promise an exciting story for film lovers.

Produced by Dil Raju, the Telugu movie is scheduled to hit the screens on 5 April.

The makers kicked off the promotional activities by launching the first single from Family Star — “Nandanandanaa“.

Music director Gopi Sundar composed the tunes for the film.

Soon after the release, the lyrical song “Nandanandanaa” garnered praise from netizens, who described it as “cool and breezy”.

Penned by Anantha Sriram, the lyrics of the single caught the attention of music lovers.

The soundtrack already got over five million views and is trending top on YouTube.

“Nandanandanaa” is sung by the acclaimed playback singer Sid Sriram, known for his soulful renditions in the past, including “Inkem Inkem Inkem Kavale” from Vijay Deverakonda’s Geetha Govindam (2018).

The tune of “Inkem Inkem Inkem Kavale” is still fresh in the minds of fans.

With over a hundred million views on YouTube and widespread popularity across Telugu states, the song undoubtedly played a major role in the film’s success.

And now, team The Family Star seems to be following the same strategy for publicity.

Well, let us wait and watch if The Family Star receives much-needed mileage with the song as it happened with Geetha Govindam!
