Senior actor Jagapathi Babu undoubtedly remains one of the most prominent villains in Tollywood.
Fans still vividly remember his stellar performance as the ruthless antagonist in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Legend (2014). However, the actor feels regret for not fully capitalising on that breakthrough.
Despite featuring in over 90 films after that, Jagapathi Babu admits that only a handful of movies truly satisfied him as an actor. Those films include Srimanthudu (2015), Rangasthalam (2018), and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018).
He said Legend came to him at a time when he was frantically looking for opportunities in the industry. Later, the sudden fame through Legend got him ample opportunities.
He started accepting roles left, right and centre with the sole intention of making money. However, he later realised that he was not satisfied with the characters he was playing. He realised he would have done some remarkable characters had he been a little cautious and choosy.
Meanwhile, netizens and film buffs believe that Jagapathi Babu still has a promising career ahead, especially with several pan-India movies in the pipeline.
It is learnt that the actor will play the father of Jr NTR in his Bollywood debut War 2. He also has Pushpa 2: The Rule, Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam, and Kalki 2898-AD.
With numerous projects in his kitty, Jagapathi Babu is likely to get busy in the coming days. Additionally, the actor has a crucial role in Ram Charan Tej-Buchi Babu’s RC16.
