The teaser of Pushpa 2: The Rule — the most-anticipated film of the year — will be released on 8 April, on the occasion of its leading man Allu Arjun’s birthday.

As the movie is scheduled to make its theatrical release on Independence Day, 15 August, Allu Arjun’s fans are excited to see their favourite star in the role of Pushpa Raj.

Directed by Sukumar, under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, is touted to be an action entertainer.

Sharing the update about Pushpa 2: The Rule teaser on X, Stylish Star Allu Arjun shared a new poster featuring a foot with “Ghungru” (a musical anklet).

Pushpa: The Rise (2021) was a humongous hit, with the actor winning a national award for his portrayal of Pushpa.

Team Pushpa 2: The Rule

Allu Arjun reprises the role of Pushpa Raju Molleti aka Pushpa in Pushpa 2, while Malayalam star actor Fahadh Faasil plays SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS.

Rashmika Mandanna plays Srivalli, Pushpa’s wife.

Prakash Raj appears as Mangalam Prakash, Sunil as Mangalam Srinu, and Anasuya Bharadwaj plays the crucial role of Mangalam Dakshayani in the sequel.

Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and Dhananjay will be seen in crucial roles in the film.

Pushpa 2: The Rule boasts a powerhouse team, with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music and the breathtaking visuals captured by cinematographer Mireslow Kuba Brozek.

While S Rama Krishna and N Monica’s production design promises to create a world that seamlessly blends grandeur with grit.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is predicted to do a mind-boggling pre-release business. It is estimated that the flick would do a pre-release business to the tune of ₹800 crore.

Made with a budget of ₹350 crore, the makers are likely to shell out a whopping ₹200 crore as remuneration for the cast of Pushpa 2.

The OTT rights have already been sold to Amazon Prime Video.

At the Berlinale event held in February this year, Allu Arjun revealed that have plans to develop Pushpa into a multipart franchise and also hinted that they work on Pushpa 3 soon after the release of Pushpa 2.
