Onam festivities conclude with spectacular pageantry of floats in Thiruvananthapuram

Over 8,000 artists performed with 76 floats and 77 art forms at the fest held in Kawadiyar- East Fort stretch in the state capital.

The spectacular pageantry of floats marked the culmination of Kerala Tourism’s week-long Onam celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, 13 September.

A pompous procession was held with 76 floats and 77 art forms. Over 8,000 artists performed at the fest held in Kawadiyar- East Fort stretch in the state capital.

The pageantry was held after a two-year hiatus caused by the Covid lockdown. Several foreign tourists witnessed the event which marks the annual tourism season in Kerala.
