Namma Metro pillar collapse: Mother, toddler crushed to death

A 30-year-old woman and her toddler were killed when an under-construction Metro pillar collapsed near Kalyan Nagar on Tuesday, 10 January.

The incident occurred when the victim Tejasvini, her husband Lohit and her son were travelling on a motorcycle between Kalyan Nagar and HRBR Layout.

The grievously injured family was rushed to the hospital where Tejasvini and Vihaan (2) succumbed to injuries.

The police have registered a case against BMRCL and others.

Congress has hit out at the Bommai government accusing it of corruption and jeopardising public safety.
