#DMK worker’s remarks against women BJP leaders puts party in a spot

DMK functionary Saidai Sadiq’s derogatory remarks on women BJP leaders left many in the state’s ruling party red-faced.

Sadiq’s remarks targetting leaders, including Khushbu, drew sharp criticism from BJP leaders and others.

When Khushbu herself took to Twitter, DMK Deputy General Secretary and MP Kanimozhi was forced to apologise.

She condemned the remarks and stated that neither her leader nor party condone such statements.

However, the DMK has been questioned on why no action has been taken against Sadiq so far.
