200 kgs heroin seized from Iranian boat off Kochi coast

In a joint operation, Narcotics Control Bureau and the Indian Navy seized over 200 kgs of heroin from an Iranian boat off the Kochi coast Thursday, October 6.

Six Iranian crew members were taken into custody after the boat was intercepted around 1,200 nautical miles off the coast.

NCB said the seizure was part of an ongoing crackdown on the international drug trafficking network.
