CM Revanth Reddy’s name listed twice in Telangana voter rolls; officials say anomaly to be fixed soon
The dual entry appeared in the older January 2025 list. Election officials have told South First that the duplicate entry will be fixed in the upcoming final rolls.
As Telangana’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls continues across the state, some media outlets have flagged a major anomaly. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s name turned up twice in the Electoral Rolls released by the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer in January 2025.
According to the rolls, Revanth Reddy was enrolled in two Assembly constituencies under two separate Parliamentary constituencies, with the same EPIC (voter ID) number TES0274035.
The first entry falls under the Mahabubnagar Parliamentary Constituency and the Kodangal Assembly Constituency, represented by Revanth Reddy as MLA. His name appears as entry number 974 at the polling station ZPHS Boys High School in Kodangal town, Vikarabad District.
This was where he last voted during the municipal elections in February 2026. His Kodangal address mentioned in the rolls is the same as the one stated in his 2023 Assembly polls affidavit.
The second entry comes under the Nagarkurnool Parliamentary Constituency and Achampet Assembly Constituency. His name is listed at the Zilla Parishad High School polling station in Kondareddypally village, Vangoor mandal, as the 601st entry.
Yadagiri, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for Achampet Constituency, told South First that they were aware of this discrepancy and that it will be resolved in the upcoming final electoral rolls to be published by the end of July by the Telangana CEO.
Vangoor Tahsildar Murali Mohan said, “The voter list being referred to is from January 2025. We got a list of duplicate votes in October 2025. We have already verified and flagged it.”
“The Chief Minister’s family told us that they would keep their vote in Kodangal and requested us to delete their names from Kondareddypally. They have also not filled out the enumeration form here. So the change will be reflected in the next electoral rolls,” Murali told South First.
