Pulimurugan completes seven years

Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan (2016), released without any promotions on 7 October 2016, became the first Malayalam film to enter the ₹100-crore club.

Helmed by Vysakh, the movie deals with the story of Murugan (Mohanlal), the saviour of tribal people and other inhabitants of the forest who live in fear because of a leopard.

A mass entertainer, the film won accolades for Mohanlal.

Unseen making video

As Pulimurugan celebrated its seventh anniversary, Mulakupadam Films (production company) released the making video of the movie on Saturday, 7 October.

The video showcased Mohanlal, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Lal going on a trip to the Sabarimala Temple. Its major highlight is Mohanal’s iconic twirling of his moustache, which came as a visual treat for his die-hard fans.

Surprisingly, the “unseen” making video is in the news on Tuesday, 10 October. Apparently, the makers did not mention the release of the anniversary video on social media.

Nevertheless, Mohanlal’s fans are delighted by the latest news about the action entertainer.

Pulimurugan was scripted by Udayakrishna. It featured Kamalini Mukherjee, Jagapathi Babu, Nobi, Lal, Vinu Mohan, Namitha, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Bala, and Santosh Kizhatoor.
