'Telusu Kada' shooting commences. (X)
The shooting of Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s upcoming Telugu film, Telusu Kada, commenced on a grand note on Tuesday, 6 August. The film marks the debut directorial of costume designer-stylist Neeraja Kona.
Telusu Kada stars Raashii Khanna and Kannada actor Srinidhi Shetty as the leading ladies. Srinidhi Shetty is debuting in Telugu with this film.
The Telugu movie also casts Viva Harsha in a crucial role. More details about the cast are yet to be revealed.
In the initial schedule, which will stretch for 30 days, the team will shoot both talkie scenes and musical numbers. The three lead actors of Telusu Kada attended the shooting on day 1.
TG Vishwa Prasad is producing it under the banner of People Media Factory. Telusu Kada has Thaman S composing the music and background score, Gnana Shekar Baba as the cinematographer, and Naveen Nooli as the editor. Avinash Kolla is the production designer and Sheetal Sharma is the costume designer.
Neeraja Kona started her career in the film industry as a stylist with Baadshah (2013). She styled Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the film. Then, she styled Nithiin in Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), Heart Attack (2014), and Courier Boy Kalyan (2015). Later, she became a personal stylist for Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Besides, she did costume designing for actors in several Telugu and Tamil films like Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daaredi (2013), Ram Charan Tej’s Govindudu Andarivadele (2014), Nani’s Ninnu Kori (2017), Karthi’s Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017), Vikram’s Saamy Square (2018), and Suriya’s NGK (2019), to mention a few.

On the other hand, Siddhu Jonnalagadda was last seen in Tillu Square, a sequel to the 2022 hit film DJ Tillu. Tillu Square raked in a whopping ₹135 crore worldwide.
Following its tremendous success, the makers announced the third part, Tillu Cube. In the third instalment, the protagonist Tillu will get superpowers.
Meanwhile, Raashii Khanna recently appeared in the blockbuster Tamil film Aranmanai 4 (2024), which was released in Telugu as Baak. It was the first ₹100 crore flick in Kollywood this year. She was also part of the Hindi movie Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra.
Her next ventures include the Bollywood flick The Sabarmati Report alongside Vikrant Massey under the direction of Ranjan Chandel, the Hindi film TME and the Tamil film Methavi, all under post-production.
Srindhi Shetty is popular for her roles in Yash’s KGF: Chapter 1 (2018) and Chapter 2 (2022). She debuted in Tamil with Vikram’s Cobra (2022). She is currently working on Kichcha47 in Kannada alongside Kichchha Sudeep.
