Megastar Chiranjeevi, who watched Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s latest outing Tillu Square, invited the film team to his house and appreciated them.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda, director Mallik Ram, writer Kalyan Shankar, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, and editor Navin Nooli visited the veteran actor in Hyderabad on Monday, 1 April.
Appreciating the team, Chiranjeevi said he was happy to see the young team achieve such a huge success. He lauded them for delivering a wholesome family entertainer.
The actor rubbished the rumour that it consisted of “adult comedy” and asked the audience to watch it in theatres.
“My entire family and I loved DJ Tillu (2022). We loved Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s character in the film. So, we were waiting for the release of his Tillu Square. After watching it, I wanted to invite you all home and appreciate your hard work. Remember, I did the same even after watching DJ Tillu,” Chiranjeevi said.
He lauded Mallik Ram, Naga Vamsi, and Kalyan Shankar for their collective efforts in making the film a blockbuster. He also praised Navin Nooli for his editing skills.
The team thanked the Megastar for his appreciation and love.
Tillu Square opened to a positive response on 29 March 2024. It grossed collected ₹23.7 crore worldwide on the opening day and raked in over ₹68.1 core in just three days. The film is racing towards the ₹100-crore club.
Anupama Parameswaran, who played the female lead in the flick, was being appreciated for her role.
Ram Miriyala’s songs in Tillu Square became popular among the youth.
Cinematographer Sai Prakash Ummadisingu was drawing praise for his rich visuals.
