Rashmika Mandanna

Rashmika Mandanna, who recently recovered from a minor accident, has wrapped up shooting for a festive dance number in Salman Khan’s upcoming Bollywood film Sikandar. AR Murugadoss is wielding the megaphone for the film.

Reports suggested that the song, composed by music director Pritam, was shot with around 200 background dancers. Besides Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar casts Sathyaraj, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, and Nawab Shah.

According to a Midday report, the dance number was set against the backdrop of the slums of Dharavi and was filmed at Goregaon’s SRPF Ground on a specially constructed set.

Meanwhile, South Indian actor Kajal Aggarwal, too, joined the sets of the Sikandar. Announcing the update, the actor took to Instagram, sharing the warm welcome she received on the sets of the Bollywood project.

Kajal Aggarwal shared a photo of the flower bouquet and her ID card bearing the production house’s logo, with the caption: “Sikandar Day 1.”

Set to be released in theatres on Eid 2025, Sikandar is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Earlier, Murugadoss stated that the project would be an action entertainer and a pan-India film. It would have emotions and a strong social message, too.

The filmmaker added that audiences can expect to see a new side of Salman Khan in the movie.
