AR Murugadoss teams up with Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala for his next

Ace Tamil filmmaker AR Murugadoss is all set to team up with Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan. The Ghajini (2005) director took to his X account to announce the news.

Sajid Nadiadwala will produce the yet-to-be-titled film. The project will be released in theatres for Eid 2025.

Murugadoss earlier collaborated with Salman Khan for Jai Ho (2014), a remake of the Telugu movie Stalin (2006), starring Chiranjeevi.

In his X post, Murugadoss wrote: “So excited to be collaborating with the legend, @beingsalmankhan and the esteemed producer, #SajidNadiadwala. Privileged to join forces with these incredible talents! 🌟. Get ready for an unforgettable cinematic experience! Our film is set to hit the screens on EID 2025.”

Sharing his excitement about the ambitious venture, Salman Khan said he was glad to join forces with the exceptionally talented AR Murugadoss and his friend Sajid Nadiadwala for an exciting project.

“This collaboration is special, and I look forward to this journey with your love and blessings,” Salman wrote in his post.

Sajid Nadiadwala said he looks forward to working with Salman Khan and Murugadoss for their ambitious movie.

“Thrilled to continue my/our longstanding collaboration with @BeingSalmanKhan. Thrilled to continue my/our longstanding collaboration with @BeingSalmanKhan , as we team up with the brilliant @ARMurugadoss over an exciting cinematic journey. This would be our one of the most ambitious films till date. Releasing on EID 2025,” he wrote on X.

Salman Khan-Sajid Nadiadwala’s hit combo

Salman Khan has a longstanding collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. They earlier worked together in several hit films like Judwaa (1997), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), and Kick (2014). Kick collected around ₹200 crore.

Sajid Nadiadwala recently announced that he is teaming up with Superstar Rajinikanth for a prestigious project, the details of which are not yet known.

Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss debuted in Hindi with the blockbuster Ghajini in 2008, a remake of his Tamil movie with the same title. The Hindi version starred Aamir Khan in the lead.

It is the first Bollywood movie to collect ₹100 crore domestically, thus creating the elite club.

He also directed Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) featuring Akshay Kumar. It was a remake of his Tamil flick Thuppakki (2012) headlined by Vijay.

His previous movie Darbar (2020) featured Rajinikanth in the lead and Raangi (2022) starred Trisha as the protagonist.
