Murugadoss discussed the script with Salman five years ago but in vain. The actor recently asked for another narration and approved it.

AR Murugadoss recently announced his next with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The untitled film will be the first collaboration of Murugadoss with Salman.
Interestingly, Murugadoss discussed the script with Salman Khan five years ago. But it did not work out then due to some reason, the Times of India reported.
According to Murugadoss, Salman recently asked for another narration after which, he acknowledged that the script gave him a good vibe and asked the director if they could start the flick immediately.
The director said the project will be an action entertainer and a pan-India film. It will have emotions and a strong social message, too.
Murugadoss added that audiences can expect to see a new side of Salman Khan in the movie.
Sajid Nadiadwala will produce the yet-to-be-titled film. It will be released in theatres for Eid 2025.
Murugadoss is currently busy with his new movie with Sivakarthikeyan, titled SK23. It will be released for Diwali.
The shooting of the Salman Khan-starrer will begin only after he wraps up Sivakarthikeyan’s film.
This is Murugadoss’ third film in Hindi. Earlier, he directed Aamir Khan in Ghajini (2008) and Akshay Kumar in Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014).
His previous movie Darbar (2020) featured Rajinikanth in the lead and Raangi (2022) starred Trisha as the protagonist.
