Actor Prabhas’ most anticipated film The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi, has finally locked a release date after much delay.
Initially the film was aiming for a summer release, however, due to delay in VFX output, The Raja Saab is now set to hit the big screens on 5 December.
Sharing the news, the makers wrote: “RAJA with a REBEL VIBE. #TheRajaSaab is set cover off a CURTAIN RAISER SHOW of a MOST ENTERTAINING Euphoria in the theatres. WORLDWIDE in cinemas from DEC 5th”

Earlier the director addressing the release noted that the they are waiting for the final delivery of the VFX output.
He wrote on X: “To give the accurate info People Media Factory (are) on that job. Expecting CG out put soon once those are verified makers will announce the release date , many external things will involve in this process, it’s not a one man word or work so things will take time, Be Lil patient, every one is giving their best to match ur expectations.”
The 45-second teaser released earlier, showed Prabhas, in the titular role, arriving on a motorcycle, wearing a suit and sunglasses, and holding a bouquet. He confidently admires his reflection in a car mirror.
After a long hiatus, Prabhas returns in a vibrant and dashing avatar that fans will surely admire. Prabhas will sport a thick beard and long hair in it.
Produced by People Media Factory with music by SS Thaman, The Raja Saab features an ensemble cast including Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar in key roles, along with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta, and Brahmanandam.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is also working on Hanu Raghavapudi’s film. Additionally, Prabhas is set to collaborate with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on an action film titled Spirit, where he may portray a cop.
Prabhas is also working on Salaar 2 with Prashanth Neel and a sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
