Prabhas is basking in the success of his recent blockbuster, Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. His next is The Raja Saab, under the direction of Maruthi.
The film already stirred excitement with its first look. This will be the actor’s debut in the horror romantic comedy genre. With 60 percent of the shoot completed, the makers of The Raja Saab unveiled a glimpse of Prabhas and also announced the film’s release date.
Titled “Fan India Glimpse”, the promo for The Raja Saab is a treat for Prabhas’s fans. The short video shows the actor in a maroon jacket and black glasses, leaning against a vintage car decorated with flowers.
The glimpse also reveals that The Raja Saab will be released on 10 April 2025 in multiple languages to reach a broad audience.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and featuring music by Thaman, the film marks the collaboration between People Media Factory and GSK Media. After a long hiatus, Prabhas returns in a vibrant and dashing avatar that fans will surely admire.
According to reports, Maruthi’s upcoming film is a horror-comedy featuring extensive VFX. Prabhas will sport a thick beard and long hair in it.
Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal are set to play the female leads alongside Prabhas, in their first collaboration with him. Many details about The Raja Saab remain under wraps, but more about Prabhas’s role is expected to be revealed soon.
Additionally, Prabhas is set to collaborate with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on an action film titled Spirit, where he may portray a cop.

In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Sandeep Reddy Vanga predicted that Prabhas’s film could easily earn ₹150 crore on its opening day.
He said, “Given the budget and our combination of Prabhas and myself, along with revenue from satellite and digital rights, the producer is secure. If the teaser, trailer, and songs perform well, we could see ₹150 crore on the first day. This is a trade estimate, and if the material is strong, the film could achieve this figure worldwide or across India.”
Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed that he turned down a Hollywood remake offer with Prabhas, which was proposed after Kabir Singh (2019). Instead, he later pitched the story for Spirit to Prabhas.
The shoot for this Telugu action-thriller is scheduled to start in November or December 2024.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is also working on Salaar 2 with Prashanth Neel and a sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
