The shooting of Tamannaah Bhatia’s much-anticipated movie, Odela 2, is progressing at a rapid pace at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The makers are currently filming the climax portion.
The makers of this big-budget film erected a massive set of Odela Mallanna Temple at Ramoji Film City, where they are shooting the climax part of Odela 2 with as many as 800 artistes. They unveiled a special poster on Monday, 29 July, marking the Bonalu celebrations.
In the poster, Tamannaah Bhatia is seen carrying a bonam to offer to the deity, Odela Mallanna. Interestingly, the Telangana state is celebrating the Bonalu festival. She plays Shiva Shakti in the flick.
The makers claimed that the actor will be seen in a never-before avatar in the film. Tamannaah Bhatia is also expected to perform some awe-inspiring stunts in it.
Odela 2 is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster hit film Odela Railway Station. Ashok Teja is wielding the megaphone for this much-anticipated project. Director Sampath Nandi created it. As a result, expectations are running sky-high for the film.
D Madhu of Madhu Creations is producing Odela 2 in association with Sampath Nandi Teamworks. Kantara(2022) -fame B Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music and background score. Soundarrajan is the cinematographer and Rajeev Nair is the art director.
The posters, the teaser, and the making video released earlier by the makers built anticipation for Odela 2. The first schedule was filmed along the ghats of River Ganga in Varanasi in March.
The Telugu film also casts Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy in the main roles.
Meanwhile, Tamannaah Bhatia’s latest outing, Aranmanai 4, was a blockbuster hit in Tamil. It became the first in the Aranmanai series to enter the ₹100 crore club. It was released in Telugu as Baak.
The actor will next be seen in the upcoming Hindi action drama Vedaa, starring John Abraham and directed by Nikkhil Advani. Vedaa will hit the screens on Independence Day, 15 August.
Further, she will make a special appearance in a song in Stree 2, a sequel to the 2018 superhit comedy-horror Stree. The Hindi film casts Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee in the lead.
