‘Odela 2’ second schedule commences

The makers released a making video, where Tamannaah Bhatia prepares for her character — Shiva Shakti.

The second schedule of Odela 2, headlined by Tamannaah Bhatia, has begun. On Friday, 26 April, the makers released a making video announcing the commencement of the second schedule.

In the making video, Tamannaah prepares for her character of Shiva Shakti. She sports tattoos on her fingers and hands, puts up turmeric-vermillion paste on her forehead, wears rudraksha mala around her neck and wrists, and drapes the attire of a sant (saint).

The video also introduces Tamannaah Bhatia as Shiva Shakti, and the actor looks terrific in the look. It ends by announcing that the second schedule began.

Announcing the second schedule, Sampath Nandi posted: “The Name… the Myth… the Saviour… Introducing the alluring @tamannaahspeaks as the powerful ‘SHIVA SHAKTI’ from #Odela2 🕉️🙏🏾 Second Schedule Begins.. A dive into our #Odela2 World ✨”

The first schedule of Odela 2 began in Varanasi on 1 March. The team shot some crucial scenes along the ghats of River Ganga.

Odela 2 is a sequel to the 2022-released Odela Railway Station. A crime thriller, Odela Railway Station was directed by Ashok Teja and created by Sampath Nandi.

It starred Hebah Patel as the protagonist and was streamed on AHA. It won the hearts of the OTT audience because of its content. Hence, the makers are coming up with a sequel.

Ashok Teja is helming Odela 2. Sampath Nandi created it.

The film is being bankrolled by D Madhu under the banner of Madhu Creations in association with Sampath Nandi Teamworks.

B Anjaneesh Loknath is scoring the music for the project.

Odela 2 casts Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy in prominent roles.

Meanwhile, Tamannaah is gearing up for the grand release of her Tamil film Aranmanai 4 (dubbed into Telugu as Baak). The horror comedy is directed by Sundar C. It also features Raashii Khanna.

Aranmanai 4 will hit the theatres on 3 May.
