‘Odela 2’ to present Tamannaah Bhatia in a never-seen-before role!

Tamannaah Bhatia, who ruled the roost in Tamil and Telugu cinema and is now hogging the limelight in Bollywood, is all set to do a horror thriller. The actor is said to do a never-before-seen role in the upcoming Telugu flick Odela 2.

Odela 2 is a sequel to the 2022 crime thriller Odela Railway Station, which was released on Aha. The prequel featured Hebah Patel as the protagonist.

Created by Sampath Nandi, Odela Railway Station received a good response from the OTT audience.

Following its success, the makers are coming up with a sequel now. However, they are going big this time and have roped in Tamannaah Bhatia as the leading lady in Odela 2.

The sequel is directed by Ashok Teja and created by Sampath Nandi.

It is bankrolled by D Mandhu of Madhu Creations in association with Sampath Nandi Team Works.

B Ajaneesh Loknath, who became a nationwide sensation with Kantara (2022), is scoring the music for this project.

The shooting commenced in Varanasi on Friday, 1 March. The team will shoot a key schedule on the ghats of River Ganga.

The high-budget film will be released in multiple Indian languages.

Upcoming projects of Tamannaah Bhatia

As regards Tamannaah, the actor debuted in Malayalam in 2023 with Dileep’s Bandra, which failed to meet the mark.

Last year, she also appeared in Lust Stories 2 (an anthology film), Rajinikanth’s Jailer, and Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar.

Her forthcoming projects include Aranmanai 4 (a Tamil horror comedy film series by Sunar C) and Stree 2 (a Hindi horror comedy helmed by Amar Kaushik and a sequel to the 2018 released Stree).

Apart from these, she is the brand ambassador for a couple of products, including the Japanese cosmetic brand Sheseido.
