Telugu dubbing dialogue writer Sri Ramakrishna no more

He wrote the dialogues for dubbing movies like Gentleman (1993), Bombay (1995), Oke Okkadu (1999), Aparichitudu (2005), and Chandramukhi (2005) — all blockbuster hits.

Ramakrishna worked on more than 300 films. The last project for which he wrote dialogues in Telugu was Rajinikanth-starrer Darbar (2020).

Ramakrishna had been suffering from age-related health issues for quite some time. He was admitted to Chennai Apollo Hospital after his health deteriorated. He breathed his last on April 1 while undergoing treatment.

Many celebrities and senior actors from both Telugu and Tamil film industries expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.

Ramakrishna’s contemporaries, who knew his work, expressed grief on various social media platforms.

Apart from being a writer, Ramakrishna also directed a few films.

According to his family members, his last rites will be held on Tuesday at the crematorium in Chennai’s Saligram.
